Particle Therapy Control Console
The CM100 meets the requirements of IEC 60601-2-64:2014 for use in a proton therapy control rooms. It provides a redundant method of tracking and displaying total dose even in the event of a power outage. It accomplishes this though a battery backup combined with nonvolatile storage. To meet the needs of Pencil Beam Scanning, it is capable of counting dose for individual beamlets in a layer. It uses a hard wired interface to arm, start, pause, and stop treatments. An audible indicator, proportional to the dose rate, can alert physicians of unexpected dose. An integrated key switch covers hard wired authorization and security requirements.
