D2-650-IE - High-speed Pencil Beam X/Y Scanning Magnet

This system utilizes cutting-edge magnetics to ensure rapid and accurate performance. Key features include fully laminated yokes, integrated coolant and current connections, flexible mounting options, and over-temperature interlock switches on each coil. These features, combined with a tested system complete with scan amplifiers, guarantee optimal speed and accuracy across a wide range of applications.

Engineered specifically for proton therapy pencil beam scanning, this system excels in both step-and-shoot and continuous scanning modes, delivering exceptional speed and precision. To enhance its adaptability and meet diverse user needs while maintaining rapid response and accuracy, the system offers optional features such as integrated Hall probes, standard or rotated mounting, customer survey and alignment features, and a position adjustment system for fixed beamline applications.

Included in the system are a D2-650 double dipole scan magnet assembly fitted to a precision aluminum subplate, internal cooling connections, a thermal interlock loop, optional H20, and two MFP-30 Hall probes, an IECO MPS-400-350-PY two-axis high current amplifier system and DC bus supply, independent redundant current transformers for coil current validation, and an X32 amplifier interface unit with three M10 fiber-optic interfaced devices for control and monitoring, all housed within the scan amplifier cabinet. This comprehensive package provides a reliable and efficient solution for precision proton therapy applications.
