IC101

Charge Integrating Electrometer

The IC101 measures charge or currents from pA to μA, generated by ionization chambers. The compact dimensions and long-range remote control permit it to be close to the chamber. An integrated high voltage source allows chambers with large electrode spacing to have correct bias. The IC101 can also measure other devices such as proportional chambers or photodiodes. The unit may be stand alone or integrated into a larger control system.

The IC101 is appropriate for pulsed signals or very small DC currents, due to it being an integrator type device. See the F100 for higher current applications.

Fiber-Optic Communications

Measurement data is transmitted through state-of-the-art fiber-optic cables. The benefits are numerous compared to other forms of data transmission.

  • Fiber-optics are immune to electrical interference
  • Minimal attenuation of light through fibers
  • Fast messaging over enormous distances
  • Radiation hard fiber materials

Integrated High Voltage

  • Avoids the need for a separate HV suppy
  • Precise programmable control of voltage
  • Choice of polarity and range up to positive or negative 3000 V
  • Short circuit protection and independent output voltage monitoring

EPICS Support

Integrate device data collection and configuration into an EPICS system, without writing a single line of code using IG2.

  • Runs on Windows 7/8/10 and Debian Linux
  • Change PV names with simple XML configuration
  • Connect to multiple Pyramid devices at once
  • Add custom scale factors and offsets on a PV basis
  • Never have to recompile
  • Professional Pyramid support for bugs and features
